09/15/2016: Your Story Matrix

A matrix is the place or point from which something else originates, takes form, or develops in this special workshop, award-winning novelist Mia Zachary will take the group through her trademarked plotting process to help you give for to and develop your next story.
Mia will briefly discuss the basic elements of plot, help you craft a high concept premise, explain how stages of conflict create story events, and finally walk you step by step through crafting your main characters’ plot matrices. Handouts will be provided and questions specific to your story are welcome.
*Prerequisite- please have your main characters already sketched out prior to this workshop. You’ll need to have an idea of who they are in order to develop how they will act.
